Do you think Kirin needed a light beer? Me either.

For a light pale lager its pretty good. Sampled from a 12 oz bottle. Drinks easy, obviously watery but some beer flavor in there. Better than Bud light.

Light gold pour. Watered down flavor, mild grains, no hops present. Easy finish. Would stand out with either a rice or grain addition.

12 oz bottle at Benihana in Dulles/Sterling, VA. Clear golden straw yellow with off-white head. Aromas of corn, wheat, malt. Same on the taste. Light body with a dry finish. Decent with some Japanese cuisine.

Quite foul. Stingy fake grain taste. Some chemicals. Tangy weird aftertaste. Bottle at Asian karaoke place in Washingtons so-called chinatown.

Pours a pale straw from a bottle, aroma of banana, corn, flavor is sweet corn. Served nice and cold, so I feel like Im rating it higher because of that. Not a great beer.

12 oz bottle. Pours a hay color with full head of big bubbles. Aromas of light corn and rice. Flavors same with additional papery and perfumes notes. Watery beer water.

Dropped the bottle and shook it up so its all head, the smell is watery and thin. The taste is also watery and with a mild grainy whatever presence. Average for a light beer

Poured from a 12 OZ bottle into a pint glass. This beer literally looks like a glass of water with sudsy white head. The smell is slightly more aromatic than tap water. It did go pretty well with my cigar (due to the lack of flavor).

Bottle from Seafood City: Poured a light straw gold liquid that was full of large carbonation bubbles that stuck to all the surface of the glass. The head was fizzy but still thicker than other light beers. Aroma was subtle yet had a big aroma of quality malts that bring out the smell of sourdough or wheat bread and smells near identical to the original Kirin recipe but toned down just a notch. The flavor is actually refreshing and taste good despite this being a light beer. Flavor is typical adjunct flavorings such as rice and even though it has a pleasant dry finish it also reminds me of cheap malt liquor.
