Bottle. Medium Tetley-coloured amber with an average off-white head. Aroma is simple caramel with fruity undertones. Lightly toasty caramel with a grainy edge and fruity undertones. Briskly carbonated. Decent flavour, not a bad amber, good balance-- neither too sweet nor too hoppy. For some, this may equal boredom, but for others it will mean easier drinkability. I didn’t mind it.
Amber brown pour. Malt forward aroma has chocolate, bread and a little fruit. Medium bodied. Not bad for what it is. KansaiBeerLvrs (5098) - Kyoto, JAPAN - JUL 18, 2016

fossil review dying on my notes on the phone. Pretty sure Brad brought these. Or not. Very malty, dull bitterness, medium caramel, for whatever reason it’s a disappoint beer to follow up a St. B ABT12 on tap. Average boring beer with no issues. Smells: see above. I’m hot and forgot to get to it. Realistically none of this matters cuz it’s a Costco beer. Barreras (1687) - Diamond Bar, California, USA - AUG 24, 2015
Pours a light amber color with a faint nut aroma. Taste is easy drinking, small malt flavor. Thin beer throughout, and slightly watery.

Poured from bottle into a pint glass
Appearance – The beer pours a clear amber color with a small white head. The head fades rather fast to leave a light level of lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma is rather light overall with some light breadiness, caramel sweetness, and a tiny amount of nut.
Taste – The taste begins a little on the sweeter caramel side with a nice bready backbone. As the flavor advances more some of the sweeter flavors fade as a light nutty and toasted malt flavor comes to the end. At the finish of the taste, the sweetness comes back with a light citrus hop joining the rest to leave a lightly sweetened and moderately roasted flavor to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel –The body of the beer was average in terms of thickness with a carbonation level that was rather average. Both are appropriate for the style. But nothing too extraordinary.
Overall – Not too complex in flavors, but it is a fairly easy drinking and slightly sweeter brew. For ~ 80 cents per bottle it is well worth it. NJBeerman013 (1054) - Hamilton Twp., New Jersey, USA - AUG 20, 2014
Bottle. Pours copper in color with a big foamy white head. Little to no aroma, just a slight spicy hop note. Light malty sweetness. douglas88 (9058) - Portland, Oregon, USA - AUG 13, 2014
Bottle from Costco. Pours a dark amber color with a small white head. A big sweet malty and fruity nose. The flavor is toasted malts, cherries, caramel, a bit of crystal. OK.
