Bottle - Overall a dissapointing beer that is only barely better than the huge macro’s. Not really worth the work to describe in that I would avoid. bhensonb (16250) - Woodland, California, USA - DEC 25, 2008
Bottle from Costco. Orange gold color with a decent white head. Aromas of grain and fruit. Near medium body with mild carbonation. Flavor is a bit weird. There’s fruit and hop spice, and malt, but there’s something extra. Linoleum paste came to mind. Quality product, but hard to pin down the extra flavor. Bottle from Costco - Cincy. Poured a clear copper color with a large frothy off-white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate tart citrus and sweet malt aroma. Medium body with a slick texture and soft carbonation. Medium malty bitersweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration. My expectations where met.

Clear copper color with a medium thin off-white head that dissipates quickly to an outer ring. Short strings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of toasted malt and hops. Light-bodied with flavors of grainy malt and herbal hops. The finish is semi-sweet with a caramel and stale malt aftertaste. Slightly below average overall. slowrunner77 (13603) - Reno, Nevada, USA - MAY 2, 2015
Meh. A definite step above a macro but a step below what I usually drink. Crisp and bready, not much else going on. High carbonation.

12 oz. bottle from Tmoney99. Pours a clear amber color with a small disappearing fizzy white head. The aroma is bready malt with moderate sweetness along with a general fruitiness. The flavor is grainy malt, earthy, with a slight fruity character. Slightly metallic at times. The finish has some bitterness. Light to medium bodied. Very little is offensive with this, the lower score just indicates there is not much going on to cause me to want to drink this again. marcus (11059) - Sacramento, California, USA - DEC 25, 2008
This reddish gold lager poured with a bubbly off-white head and a floral aroma. There is sufficient caramel malt to make this brew flavorful and the Hallertau hops are evident at the finish. However, there is an unusual spicy taste, probably from the yeast, that is not entirely favorable. KyotoLefty (11020) - Kyoto, JAPAN - NOV 21, 2012
Bottle from Kyoto Cosco. Deep gold to light amber. Fine, medium head. Malty nose, some caramel, a bit of diacetyl, light hop. Sweet and malty, but not overly so, grassy hops complement., with nice bitterness. Actually, it’s pretty decent. Full bodied. Balanced, great for the price.

Bottle. Bright bronze body, tight white head. Grainy aroma, very plain. Sweet grainy palate with a whiff of bittering hop presence at the back, but really dull. Not something that makes me think of Germany at all. sebletitje (10704) - Enghien, BELGIUM - DEC 24, 2010
Bouteille @ OTH.
