UPDATED: AUG 24, 2010 The aroma is malty and hoppy with grass and citrus hops. The appearance is pale gold with a large foamy head. The taste is like the aroma with a lightly bitter finish. The palate is smooth. Overall it’s a good beer just blah. aaroncoop (14) - Tiburon, California, USA - JUL 31, 2010
Wimpy weak flavor. Almost as lightly flavored as a lager. Minimal bitterness. Uninteresting. aracauna (3592) - Georgia, USA - JUL 26, 2010
Unlike the German Style Lager and Amber, this one doesn’t have anything offensive. There’s a decent maltiness to the beer but the hops come across more like tea leaves than anything else. ehhdayton (1188) - USA - JUN 12, 2010
Pours amber with an off white head. Aroma has a slight malt with some hops. Light crisp flavor with some hops. IrishBoy (4185) - Bakersfield, California, USA - JUN 4, 2010
12 oz bottle from Costco Bakersfield. Nose of light floral hops and malty caramel with a slight woody note. Clear orange with a small off white head. Flavor is slightly bitter with a malty backbone. Finish lightly bitter. Drinkable but nowhere near a great Pale Ale!

Pours clear copper with weak off white head. The aroma has notes of tart grapefruit and tangelo, a touch of sour citrus, some acidity and hints of maltiness. The taste is similar with some tart to sour citrus that rolls into bitterness by about midway with lingering light maltiness in the background. skoisirius (1909) - Earth, Washington, USA - MAY 3, 2010
Beer gets brewed. Massive quantities of shitty beer gets brewed. Craft beer begins getting brewed. Craft beer becomes popluar. Costco brews beer. Woah. Again. TheBeerOrg (2145) - Louisville, Kentucky, USA - MAY 1, 2010
Pours bright orange with a fully receding off-white head. Notes of toffee, citrus resin, woody, sweet caramel. Medium bodied and resinous with moderate carbonation. Terminus (3679) - St. Louis, Missouri, USA - APR 25, 2010
bottle-pours lite copper with a fizzy white head. carmel malt dominates the nose with touches of leafy hops. a bit of oxidization as well. earthy and leafy hop flavors with some carmel malts-pretty boring and not good. i didnt realize this was made by gordon biersch-the label said some company in new york. i dunno.. anyways, not very good! puboflyons (3404) - Allenstown, New Hampshire, USA - APR 17, 2010
From the 12 fl. oz. bottle brewed in Utica, N.Y. with an expiration date of Apr 04, 2010. The pour is golden yellow with a decent fizzy white head and pretty good lacing. Light but noticeable floral hops are the main aroma with a dash of malts. The taste is bitterly sharp with a hopped finish.
