Costco: Pours a brownish amber color. Aroma of hops, with some malt backing. Of the Kirkland beers I’ve had, this one was the best. Moderate amount of hops that did dominate the taste. Well-balanced and very sessionable. I was drinking this along with Sierra Nevada PA and the SNPA was obviously a lot nicer and more complex, but this beer still held its own. If anything, I think it is a little under-rated here (I’ve had way worse APAs). And hey, it’s cheap. sebletitje (10080) - Enghien, BELGIUM - DEC 24, 2010
Bouteille @ OTH.
Ouiap bon, rien a voir ici.
[Bottle] Pours a hazy golden color with a quickly fading white head. Notes of grass, sweet malts and lemon cleaner in the aroma. Crisp citrus hopping dominates the taste. Lingering grassy and grainy notes in the finish. Light in body and highly carbonated. Easy to drink. Very average. beerdad (397) - Kansas, USA - OCT 11, 2010
bottled. pours pale gold with a large frothy white head. aromas of hops and grapefruit. slightly bitter. lacking a solid finish, it’s just ok. not great. radagast83 (8069) - Alexandria, Virginia, USA - OCT 10, 2010
Bottle. Poured an amber color with an off-white head. Aroma was malty, touch of citrus, grapefruit, mild pine. Flavor was malty, touch of grapefruit. Minor bitterness. Pretty standard, but pretty good.

Drinkable pale, just not very exciting. Perhaps I’m biased though, and what I like in a pale is more like an IPA from 15 years ago. Regardless, this one just didn’t do much for me. Had some floral things going on and a bit of citrus, but nothing that really caught my nose/mouth. And the malts just seemed a bit one-dimensional. Drinkable? Yes. But did it keep my attention beyond the first couple sips? No. DarkSong (380) - Dacula, Georgia, USA - AUG 30, 2010
12 oz bottle. Pours a medium gold with a large white head. It has a fresh aroma with some citrus. It has a nice citrus taste to it, a little pine, some hop bitterness and a grapefruit aftertaste. This is not a great beer but it’s not bad either. Sparky (2244) - Phoenix, Arizona, USA - AUG 30, 2010
Pours clear medium gold with a half finger white head. The nose is malt and light citrus hops. The taste is pretty much the same with a touch of bitter grapefruit in the finish. Medium mouthfeel. Another serviceable brew, not earth shattering, but better than I thought it would be. picknbrew (196) - Mechanicsville, Virginia, USA - AUG 25, 2010
12 oz. bottle. Copper color with medium head. Aroma- A little citrusy/grassy hops. Taste- Mostly dry almost chalky with some bready malt notes. Palate-Average carbonation with dry almost chalky and medium bitter finish. Not a bad beer for the price. Nothing spectacular. Palidor19 (3188) - Brandon, Florida, USA - AUG 25, 2010
this beer is clean and straightforward. the malts are medium but the very nice beer all the way. hops are nice and bitter with little after taste and lingering.
