COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This is a classic, American-Style pale ale that displays all of the complex bitterness and aroma from the hops of the Yakima Valley in Washington State. By using a top-fermenting ale yeas strain we bring out the floral and herbal flavor profiles. A clean, malty body is developed from the pale and light caramel malt. ABV 5.4% Bitterness 35 IBU. Contract brewed for Costco by the Gordon Biersch Brewing Company under the brewer name Hopfen Und Malz (for the west coast market) and since mid 2009 by Matt Brewing as "New Yorker Brewing Co." (for the east coast market).

330ml bottle - tnaks Steve!
Sweet caramelly aroma, quite papery, some nut papers. Sweet caramelly malty taste, dirty and papery. Sugary watery palate, fizzy carbonation. Dirty papery finish. Weak ale.

Bottle from Costco - Cincy. Poured a clear amber color with an average frothy white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate citrus hop aroma. Medium body with a slick texture and soft carbonation. Medium bittersweet flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration. This is an just above average drinkable brew.

Dogbrick (13547) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - DEC 27, 2011
Clear amber pour with a medium fluffy off-white head that diminishes quickly to an outer ring. Slippery sheets of lacing on the glass. Pale malt, citrus and mild hops in the nose. Light body with a lightly bitter citrusy hops character with bready malt in the background. The finish is short and lightly hoppy. Thoroughly average beer.

meh, too much biscuit malt for me. for the price these are ok, but as they are not a whole lot less than better beers at costco, great price but not a great value.

KyotoLefty (10603) - Kyoto, JAPAN - DEC 22, 2011
Bottle from Kyoto Costco. Citrus hop nose, biscuity malts. Rther mild. Deep gold, close to amber, with a low head. Malty flavor, grass and citrus hops, slightly bready. Light and a bit thin. Ok, but not so special. Good for the price here. Simple but decent.

DuffMan (10602) - the land of bitumen, beef & beer, Alberta, CANADA - JAN 15, 2013
Bottle. Light amber pour, average off-white head. Aroma is lightly hoppy with caramel. Toasty caramel malts with soft ripe-peach hop notes and a moderate bitterness that lingers. Marred by a hard mouthfeel and over-carbonation, but otherwise not bad for a low cost brew.

marcus (10565) - Sacramento, California, USA - DEC 25, 2008
This clear golden beer poured with a nice white head and a faint caramel aroma. There is a crisp malt flavor and some bitterness at the finish.

Bouteille @ OTH. Ouiap bon, rien a voir ici.
