Toasted, dark malts, burnt molasses, caramel. Slightly hazy, dark brown, small, creamy, off-white head. Light sweet. More sweet dark, toasted malts, caramel, biscuit, chocolate, soft carbonation, medium bodied. Very nice Porter, well-balanced. Cask at North Bar, Leeds.

Cask @The Hanging Bat, Edinburgh - After The Xmas Tasting 2016. Pours black, tan head. Nose and taste is very similar, coffee, chocolate, slight fruit, i got some cherry on the nose but not on the taste, some woody notes.

Cask conditioned at York Beer Festival ’16. Very dark brown with cream head. There are rich, darkly roasted malt notes here, coffee with a bitter chocolate hint and fruity liquorice. Lasting on the palate. Very decent indeed.

Taste is roasty, earthy with notes of espresso, roasted grains, wood, dried fruits, candy sugar. Finishes bitter and dry. Overall, tasty
