Cask at the hanging bat. Pours clear gold, thin white head. Aromas of light citrus and grains. Taste is light sweet, floral, light citrus, dusty malt. Strange astringent finish.

500ml bottle. Pours lovely amber, little head retention. Nose is citrus and grapefruit, slightly pine. Bold bitterness which lingers. Citrus on the palate, alcohol warmth right at the end. Would be fantastic on a hot day.

Good citrus tang on the palate, together with a full IPA taste. Looks the part - would drink again.

ianwelby (1369) - SCOTLAND - OCT 10, 2014
Clear golden beer with a grassy citrus aroma. Flavour is grassy and floral citrus with a bitter-sour follow-up. Light but rich. A touch cooler and it’d be my perfect sunny afternoon beer.

Bottled. Golden body. White head. Nose is citrus and hops. Tangy. Bitter finish.

Bottle 500ml.

[ As Kirkstall Dissolution Extra IPA ].
Clear medium orange yellow color with a small to average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, wood, moderate hoppy, orange - citrus. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter with a long duration, wood, orange, dry, hoppy. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20140415]

Bottle. Pale gold with an off white foam. Aromas are caramel and cereal grain with mango. Lemon with grapefruit and lime peel. Mellow oranges with honey. Flavours are sweet honey and lemon with grain. Piney with bittersweet grapefruit. Smooth bodied with citrus rind pithiness. Dry on the finish. I liked it.

Holmen1 (5839) - Stavanger, NORWAY - JUN 17, 2014
No hops after all? Highly misleading information.

gunnar (9019) - Sandnes, NORWAY - JUN 13, 2014
Shared bottle at local tasting. Pours clear golden with a tiny white head. Aroma of caramel, citrus and marmelade. Taste is moderate bitter, light crisp bitter, sweet marmelade, not bad at all.

Sigmund (7390) - Tau, NORWAY - JUN 13, 2014
Shared 500 ml bottle at local tasting, thanks to Holmen2. ABV is 6.0%. Clear deep golden to orange colour, moderate to low white head. Nice and "typically English" aroma, toffee, caramel and sourish hops. Much the same elements in the flavour too, but less nice - seems a bit unbalanced. Drinkable, but far from the best IPA I’ve had.
