Keg at CPK tap takeover, London. It pours a hazy copper/purple color with a tiny white head. Aroma is sweet and big on fruity notes, a tad too syrupy. Taste is sugary, medium sweet and lightly sour in the finish. Has some light tangy lemon juice in the finish but its mainly about the sweet raspberry tones. Light bodied with lively carbonation. Too intense sweet fruitiness and medicinal for me to like much.

Tap @ Euston Tap, London 24/08/13. Pours a deep red with a stylish and good-sized, pink head. Aroma is a lot of raspberry and raspberry candy. Taste is quite sweet with raspberry again, some cherry. Raspberry seeds, grapes, somewhat sour. A bit of caramel. Dries up on the finish. Quite soda-like palate with a lot of carbonation. Not watery though. Very enjoyable.

August 18, 2013 - draught at The White Horse (Parsons Green). Loved this "beer" - frankly, its pretty much pure ripe raspberry juice in aroma and taste - thick, somewhat acidic with a bit of seedy bitterness, and NOT a syrup monster like many - reminded me quite a bit of New Glarus Raspberry Tart - this was thick, opaque mauve, not much head - and a delight to drink. I wish I could buy this in the bottle in Toronto - I would have this on-hand all the time.
