Cask, Regular;
Wonderfully golden session beer. Fresh malt and hop aroma lead to a satisfyingly bitter finish.

Cask at the Sparrow, Bradford. Pale gold. Pleasant hoppy aroma, with a hint of grassiness. Slightly citrus flavour, dry finish.

More subtle and traditional version of the brewery’s Three Swords offering, IMHO. Not at all bad, but this kinda stands in the shadow of its extra pale brother, when compared side by side, at least. Pint from keg at Damnation Festival, Leeds. (Still a brilliant beer - this is not a negative review!)

Cask at the Alma, Harwich. Poured a slightly hazy light amber with a thin broken white head. The aroma is malt, light floral hop. The flavour is moderate to light bitter with a light watery malt, yeast, light woody, floral hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. Not particularly great. I get the feeling that this beer was not at its best.

Cask at Whitelocks, Leeds. A clear golden colour with a medium white head. Aroma of lemon, soft bready malts and floral hops. Taste of lemon, a hint of fruit, subtle bready malts and some floral hops. Light bodied and soft carbonation. A dry, floral hop bitterness in the finish. A simple golden ale with a long, flora hop bitterness. Subtle fruitiness in the aftertaste. Ok.
