Draft at the brewpub. Very light, but no Bud Light. Subtle biscuit malt, no technical difficulties but not a stand out. Meh. (#6262, 8/7/2016) Bif (2418) - St. Charles, Missouri, USA - DEC 10, 2015

UPDATED: JUL 27, 2014 Draft... RBSG 2014... Clear yellow pour with a small, creamy, white head. Good retention. The restrained nose is a weak blend of cereal grains and white pepper. Light-bodied and watery with zippy carbonation. Trends bitter, but only by a smidge, and is well-balanced overall. Crisp, snappy finish with a light buttery note. Probably some diacetyl here.

Flight pour on tap at the brewery (Kirkwood, MO). Pours a gently hazed straw hue, mellow yellow glow with bright white head atop. Nice frothy layer has decent stick around. Aromas are gentle grainy malts, a bit of straw and touches of gentle fruit. Clean, a bit fruity with subtle earthy jabs. Initial is lighter end of the fold with a bit of creaminess, gentle bread dough, light apple. Middle is a touch sweet with mellow flaked wheat and straw, more bread dough. Backend and finish is clean, just a touch of yeasty spice, subtle earthiness. Solid, clean, a touch sweeter. Lighter bodied with a touch of dryness as we finish. deyholla (12663) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - JUN 22, 2014
