Cask; Regular.
A sight to beholden - in the glass it glows deep and golden. In the mouth there’s a taste of lightly roasted malts, late autumn apples and the lingering bitterness of Challenger hops

Cask at Wibbas Down (JDW), Wimbledon in Nov 2017 - Now 4.5% - Clear yellow gold in colour. Medium foamy off-white head. Good lacing. Fruity; very lemon citrus. Hoppy; moderate hop bitterness. Malty; toasty malts, caramel. Moderately bitter lemon citrus fruity and hoppy throughout. Tasty easy drinking pint. (2017-11)

Cask conditioned handpump Queens Head Brighton 20/05/13. A golden coloured beer with no head. Apply sweetness initially turns into grassy notes and late bitterness. An oddity of a beer but it’s drinkable.

Served via gravity dispense at the Battersea Beer Festival (Feb ’12). Pours a mid clear golden colour with a thin white head clearing quickly to a few bubbles. Slight caramel nose and a little malt in the background, but not powerful enough aroma’s in my opininion, when compared to other beers of this style! The taste also lacked for me. Hop bitterness on the palate and in the aftertaste, and a little fruit in there as well, but largely bland! Medium body, low carbonation, bitter dry aftertaste. Overall a pretty average beer and not one I would bother going back to, certainly not at a beer festival, but may perhaps try again if I see it in cask in a pub!?!

[cask at Bacchus, Newcastle] Slightly hazy, off-gold pour with a decent white head. Malty, bready aroma with some slight caramel notes. Bitter palate, some fruit on the taste, bitter finish from the Challenger hops. Decent stuff [12112011]
