A fekete és a barna is ébreszt néha kételyeket mivel nehéz eldönteni, hogy kávé vagy csokit került-e bele.

Thanks Ben! Wow, kinda a nice find! Poured into a pilsener glass, the appearance was a dark brown color with a sly transparency about it. Finger and a half’s worth of white foamy head dissipated at a good pace. Light stringy lace. The aroma had a soft semi-sweet to roasty nuttiness over a nice smooth sweet rich caramel/toffee backbone. The flavor had a rich sweet maltiness of the caramel/toffee portion. Nuts not so much in this department. Malty smooth sweet aftertaste and finish. On the palate, this one sat between a light to medium on the body with a fair sessionability about it. Good carbonation. ABV felt fine. Overall, really nice Munich Dunkel lager, worthy of having again, if I could ever dig this up again.

0,5l bottle. Thick dark colour with a stiff and creamy beige head. Aroma: Caramel, nuts and roasted coffee bean notes. Taste: Rich sweet malty start (dried fruits), with a decent bitter mouthfeel (where the roasted coffee tones comes in). Medium body with a medium carbonation. Long bitter/sweet and softly dry finish. Great dunkel.

500 ml bottle. Black body with a nice, dense, creamy beige head that lasts. Aroma has some butterscotch, earth, nuts, mild dark malt and hint of coffee. The butterscotch is moderate and not really destroying much of the experience, just an observation. The flavor is sweet, roasted dark malt, bitter coffee and dry fruit. Fine body and rather pleasant aftertaste with dark chocolate. Not elegant, but somehow decent despite some minor off flavors.

Kiegyensúlyozott, krémes ízű, pörkölt jegyekkel bíró barna sör nagy megfejtések és ízhibák nélkül.

Draught at Főzdefeszt III, Budapest. Black coloured, small brownish head, dry chicory nose. Roasted malt mixed with chocolate truffles and dry finish. Pleasant one.

Mindhárom főzdefeszten kóstoltam, az elsőn például ez volt a kedvenc söröm. Másodjára már kicsit jellegtelenebbnek tűnt, most a harmadikon megin kicsit jobban ízlik. Kesernyés, száraz kis dunkel, kicsit lehetne szotymallagosabb, amolyan urtyp-os mint a Serforrás barnája, na de ne legyünk telhetetlenek.

Dark brown, quickly disappearing head. Bitterish aroma with roasted malt notes. Taste of coffee and iron. I expected it to be less bitter but it’s okay though.
