COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
AHM Kissmeyer Nordic Coast Blonde Ale (12.0 % P, 5.0 % ABV, 20 BU, Color ~ 20 EBC). A collaboration between with Danish beer and food writer, Anders Holst Markussen (www.andersholstmarkussen.com), and Kissmeyer Beer. A pale, refreshing Nordic aperitif beer with delicate fruity aromas, achieved by infusing rose hips and rhubarb in the wort at below boiling temperature to preserve their volatile aromas, and ‘dry fruiting’ with sea buckthorn during maturation. The aroma and flavor is light and fruity, the taste crisp and slightly fruity tart with medium bitterness and malt character and a pleasant, snappy finish.

Draught (flight) @ Fairbar, Aarhus. Pours hazy rich amber with stable off-white head. Clear aroma of malt and fruit, with notes of yeast. Bitter and dusty flavour of hops and yeast, with some sourish fruity notes. Rough and dusty aftertaste. Very low carbonation. A nice Fruit Beer, given that most beers belonging to this category are artificial Radlers. This one is not, thank God (and Kissmeyer).

Pours hazy orange with a small white head. Aroma is malty and citrusy/lemonade. Taste is malty, mild hops and fruity/ mild raspberry. Great carbonation but a little more bitterness would have made more refreshing. However, it is indeed drinkable. - with thirst, Niklas
