En super spændende sort IPA - godt humlet med fyldige toner af hårdt ristet malt

Bomber - pours a very dark black liquid and a med to thin light grey head. Mediocre aroma of mostly rich caramel malt, some roastiness and some hop notes but not enough. Good flavors but still lacking in stout like roastiness and IPA hop punch.
[5900-20131005] Tap. Roasted fishy plastic aroma. Hazy, brown black body with no lasting head. Roasted leaves and mild bitter malt orange notes in the flavour. Medium-full body is not surprisingly flat considering its history. Good. (6/3/7/3/15) 3.4+

Black coloured beer with a medium to large creamy head. Aroma has notes of roasted malt, hops, and chocolate. Taste has weak touch of licorice, lots of hops and a nice coffee finish. Medium to heavy palate. Leighton (22084) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - MAY 28, 2014
Bottle shared in London - picked up in CPH at Barleywine. Pours clear, dark brown with a frothy, khaki head. The has toasty, grainy bread, hints of grapes. Light to medium sweet flavor with lots of ripe, dark fruits, mellow bitterness brown bread and cereal. Medium bodied with fine, creamy carbonation. Moderate sweetness to finish, further toasty cereal, grapes, berries. Extremely simplistic and almost devoid of hops. OK, sort of. Scopey (15522) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - MAY 28, 2014
