Danish.

English. A deep copper coloured IPA with a distinct bitternes. Dry, but quite malty body with a hint of caramel and a rich, fruity hop aroma and flavour. Think a maltier and bolder version of the new classic Kissmeyer Pale Ale!

[email protected] Not past it’s best before date but still a little oxidized. Rather malty.

Dark color, amber-brown, with medium sized compact head. Medium aroma of caramelized malts and hops. Caramel flavor with some roasted malts and a light dusty character; quite strong bitterness, with mild hop resins.
Overall it’s well balanced.

probstblueribbon (4088) - Nepean, Ontario, CANADA - DEC 25, 2012
500 ml bottle shared with Alex S, served cold in a pint glass. BB 1.DEC.2012. 13SE12.

App.: Deep ruby mahogany with a nice orange-tan head. Aroma: Strong, rich, pungent, fruity caramel, roasted maltiness, brown-to-burnt sugars, really fruity, some pink grapefruit, a bit of citrus, a little dank, peppery, nice. Palate: Medium+ body, soft, slightly sparse effervescence. Flav.: Quite fruity, brown sugar bordering on molasses, pine, grapefruit, a little caramel, peppery; slightly sweet with moderate bitterness and a reasonably long, fruity, slightly roasted finish.

Pretty nice.

A little hazy colored beer, with a beige ead. The aroma of red fruit with hop and a little caramel. The taste is fruity, some hop bitter and alittle spices. The aftertaste is a little sweet with some bitter.

erickok (6036) - Leuven, BELGIUM - DEC 15, 2012
Brown bodied, and beige head. Interesting hop mix, fresh forest and caramel malts . full flavour but body is a bit thin. Not as bitter as expected. (Bottle at thanks to Menno and John)

Bottle @ tasting. Aroma is bread, rye and loads of hops. Flavour is light bitterness, some bread and rye. Aroma has more.

Diogène (1214) - Mirabel, Quebec, CANADA - NOV 25, 2012
Dark red beer with a thick white foamy head. Aroma is caramel with cookies and a hint of fruits. Flavor is very caramelly but there are no hops to be found in there. Maybe this bottle was too old and the hops faded. Good malt profile, but lacking hops.

Kronebryg (1123) - Sorgenfri, DENMARK - NOV 21, 2012
Little head, quickly falling, brown. nose with hops, chockolate milk, cream and caramel, Semifull and fine length. soft. with chockolate, fudge/caramel and a very wellballanced hoppyness. Super

ClubGonzo (5683) - Bergen, NORWAY - NOV 17, 2012
Bottle from Vinmonopolet in Valkendorfsgate, Bergen. Pours a deep hazy brown-ruby body with a huge creamy off-white head. Aroma is smooth caramel malt notes with peachy overtones, hints of grass and honey melon. Taste is caramel, nuts, peaches, grass, hints of resin and honey melon with a touch of burnt sugar and red berries. Bitter finish. Smooth and full body, creamy mouthfeel and medium carbonation. A nice red IPA on the bitter side of things.

dornoy (701) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - NOV 6, 2012
A very fiery berr. The taste was long remembered. The combination red ale and IPQ was indeed impressive !
