Danish.

English. A deep copper coloured IPA with a distinct bitternes. Dry, but quite malty body with a hint of caramel and a rich, fruity hop aroma and flavour. Think a maltier and bolder version of the new classic Kissmeyer Pale Ale!

Bottle from Vika at home
Deep red wine red, big tanned head. Smells of blackberries, some citrus zests, some roasted malts. Taste gently of roasted malts, medium sweet, some grain, berries, dark fruits and yeast notes. Finish has nice medium to heavy bitterness, nice hops, quite strict, not very fruity but i find resins and grass. Medium to full body, soft carbonation, oily texture. Totally this is a bit out of style to me, still it’s nice and very drinkable. The body as a bit weak and watery for an IPA

Borup (15943) - Albertslund, DENMARK - JUN 8, 2012
Tasted at DØE. Clear brown colour with a small head. Aroma and flavour of fruit, hops, caramel and spice.

phredrik (1024) - Copenhagen (formerly Aalborg), DENMARK - JUN 1, 2012
50 cl bottle. Pours amber with a small head. Aroma is grassy hoppiness, dishwashing soap (sulfo), bland caramel, pretty fucken far from an IPA, not hoppy at all. Taste is a bit bitter, caramel malts, grass, astringet hops. Wow, this really is a bad IPA. This goes out to all gypsy brewers: please refrain from brewing at Ørbæk, they suck at brewing.

sunevdj (4144) - Copenhagen OE, DENMARK - MAY 31, 2012
On tap at Ørsted. Pours a clear brown with a light beige head. Dry with lots of caramel aromas and some aromas of rye. Some sprucey hopsnotes. Medium bodied. Medium to soft ccarbonation.

Maris (1612) - Canberra, AUSTRALIA - MAY 27, 2012
From a 500ml bottle on 27/5/2012. Pours a cloudy dark amber, with a small head. Has a moderate aroma of dark fruit and mild hops. Flavour wise, it’s got lots of caramel malt and a good dose of fruity hops. This is an enjoyable, slightly different, though relatively subtle IPA

kennethaus (15) - - MAY 24, 2012
Basement aromas, cooked vegetables, alcohol, cheese, floral, cheese, alcohol, cheese, butterscotch

KnutAlbert (6798) - Oslo, NORWAY - MAY 24, 2012
Bottle from a Copenhagen kiosk. Glowing red. Fine malty body, dry herbal flavour, red berries. Fine balance, true craftsmanship.
