500ml bottle - thanks to B! - shared with blankboy and biegaman. Deep clear ruby with a huge fluffy lasting beige/tan head. Dry aroma, floral, some alcohol - a bit of gluten and wheat flour. Taste - leafy IPA / west coast barley wine-ish, solid almost burnt malt backbone, really nice. Thick, moderately carbonated, starts very malty, finishes dry and somewhat resiny - not huge, but very nice. blankboy (7662) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - FEB 22, 2013
Bottle [500ml] shared with HogTownHarry & biegaman -- c/o HogTownHarry. Pours a murky copper-amber with a large lasting frothy beige head and some light lacing on the glass. Aroma of biscuity caramel malt, light spices, light spicy hops and some fruit. Flavour follows the aroma, with biscuity malt, fruit, spicy hops, some maple syrup and a nice bitter finish. Medium bodied. A nice surprise, this was really good. KnutAlbert (6754) - Oslo, NORWAY - MAY 24, 2012
