On tap at lfestival 2011. A dark brown beer, unclear, and topped by a two-finger, beige head. Smoked and roasted malts, alcohol, ham and some faint chocolate notes in the aroma. The flavor is on the roasted, smoked side, with ham, some nougat and a decent bitterness. Full-bodied, warming and pleasantly carbonated. Warm and roasted end. A really pleasant one. 110528

Dark opaque brown color, small off-white head. Bamberg-smokey, a bit toasted aroma. Medium-bodied. Sweetish backbone, some sweet licorice and Bamberg smoke. Quite pleasant and balanced. Not too alcoholic despite of ABV.

Tap @ rsted lbar, Cph.
Pours deep brown chestnut with a small, beige film head. Heavy meaty smoke aroma, some chocolate, caramel and roasted notes attempt to create balance. Lowish carbonation, great dry and rather creamy palate. Flavour is quite lovely, still lots of smoke, but a fine and rather astringent roasted malts note does create some balance. Some chocolate, rather grainy, malty dry bitterness. Yum.
