Copenhagen 22/10 2017. 33 cl bottle from Mad & Vin. Pretty cool design with focus on cramming a lot of information in on the label. Including information of the type of malts and hops used and what food should drink it with (Hot Asian dishes and hard Cheese). Pours hazy orange with white head. Settles as thin layer of foam on the verge of being transparent. Lacing along the side of the glass. Aroma is fermented exotic fruit with a healthy dose of alcohol, Peach and passion fruit with a hint of decay. More subdued but still pronounced notes of citric bitterness. Light carbonation and thick and oily palate. Flavor is fairly sweet followed by strong bitterness. Aftertaste is fermented, boozy sweetness with sharp bitter notes. An Imperial IPA where you cannot miss it's strength - despite it's fruity quality. Karstenborg (1145) - Hasselager, DENMARK - AUG 26, 2017
