0.5l bottle @ Patricks, Kristiansand. A blurry dark copper-ish beer with a big and lasting off-white head. Nice lacing on this. On the aroma this one has candy tones, fruity hops, caramel and it’s quite fresh and almost zesty as well. A bit thin - almost watery texture and the carbonation level is comfortably average to soft. Nice flavors, perhaps a tad sweet and it’s really fruity! Hints of fruity citrus plants all the way. I would describe it as very easy to drink little of, but not great to drink a whole lot of. Really low bitterness all the way, and perhaps not utterly exciting, but I found it quite tasty. Just what I needed now. 30.03.2012 Hansen (8595) - Assentoft, DENMARK - APR 15, 2012
Amber coloured and hazy. Has an off-white, frothy head, mostly lasting. Nice aroma, notes of hops, faint coffee, dark sugars. Flavor is starting moderate sweet and finish moderate to heavy bitter. Long duration. Dry, creamy texture and soft carbonation. Light astringent. Zita (6325) - Assentoft, DENMARK - APR 15, 2012

Lidt tør ikke så fantastisk som
Pale Ale. Lidt for maltwt til min smag. Flot skum og apparence. Jamen den har da smag men ikke så fantastisk til prisen som så meget andet dk øl.

500 ml bottle @ Patricks. Dark golden body with an off-white head. Quite weak malty aroma with just a hint of citric fruit. Flavor is malt with notes of citric fruit and moderate bitterness. Medium body. A good looking OK beer, but pretty straight forward with nothing extra at all. humlelala (1375) - DENMARK - MAR 2, 2012
UPDATED: APR 23, 2015 (33 cl bottle from Kervan’s; L00138; P: 19/11/14; E: 19/11/15) Excited to see Kissmeyer’s beers produced at 961 brewing, who also brought us the much beloved Lebanese Pale Ale. This one was poured into a small Ølfabrikken snifter revealing a semi-clear amber body with medium white head. Good retention and beautiful lace. Aroma is dusty with hints of banana and grain. Oily texture, medium body, medium carbonation and a bitter finish. Flavour is moderately bitter with sprucy notes. I think the flavour has improved markedly since the one I tasted in 2012 and I would certainly like to try one of these in a fresher version to give the aroma a chance to unfold well.
Original rating from February 3rd 2012 (A: 4; Ap: 4; Fl: 6; Pa: 4; O: 13): (50 cl bottle from Bunker Beer; BBD: 050113) Pours a clear, dark amber with medium, white head. Good lace and retention. Aroma is mostly malty with hints of dust and grain. Not much detectable hop aroma. Oily texture, medium carbonation, medium body with a slightly sweet finish. Taste is more sweet than bitter and definitely not dry. Easily drinkable, not very demanding, pleasant but perhaps not that terribly interesting. charlotte (5387) - rødovre, DENMARK - FEB 25, 2012

Bottled. A slightly hazy red golden beer with a thick off-white head. The aroma has notes of lemons, hay, and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of straw, lemons, oranges, bread, and malt, leading to a bitter finish. Maria (10212) - Thisted, DENMARK - FEB 16, 2012
It’s hazy bronze with a huge, creamy head. The aroma is nicely hopped with notes of citrus, fruit, malt and light spruce. The flavour is moderately sweet with notes of citrus, caramel, exotic fruits, and the finish is dry and slightly bitter.
