UPDATED: OCT 21, 2012 First batch, on tap at Christian Firtal. Cloudy orange with a big and lasting white head. Aroma of orange, grapefruit, ripe tropical fruits and to a lesser degree, some pine and grass. Dry and very bitter flavour with a hint of biscuit maltiness far in the background. Fruity hop flavours. The bitterness gets a little raw, tobacco like (supposed to be fixed in following batches). October 2012: Definitely more subdued bitterness and more malt forward flavour

Pours hazy yellow-orange with a lovely, creamy, off-white head. Aroma has lots of lovely apricot, citrus and grass on top of an okay malty base. Light carbonation, lovely light and dry mouthfeel. Flavour is light, elegant, piney, grassy, apricot. Long, dry, lingering bitterness. A very fine beer.

Rune (12071) - Troms, NORWAY - JUN 4, 2012
500ml bottle from Vinmonopolet Vika, Oslo. Huge and thick off-white head, leaving frothing rings of lace on the glassware. Next to clear copper brown-tinged body. Smell of beady malts entwined with dried fruits. Fine blended taste of earthy malts, sweet berries, almond and ripe fruits, as well as a touch of pepper on the swallow. Not overly bitter finish. A good malt dominated pale ale (Saturday eve at home in Troms, 02.06.2012).
