Flaske 0,5l fra Vinmonopolet, Bestillingsutvalget. Drukket i heimen 16 Jul 12. Orange-brun. Litt uklar. Hyt kremaktig skum som varer en god stund. God fruktig aroma. Innslag av mandler. Lite kullsyre. Myk munnflelse. Smaken sammensatt. mandler & aprikos. Svakt syrlig ettersmak. OK trsteslukker - men ogs egnet som kosel. KI=7.

(Draught at Hilpe Hauki, Helsinki, 20110401) The beer poured amber and a little bit cloudy. Its head was quite large and white. Aroma had berries, hops and fruitiness. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were hops, toffee, berries, malts, mildly sourness and medium bitterness. Aftertaste was bitter and malty. Not a good one. The berriness and sourness werent fitting for this beer.

Bottle from Rudat in Dortmund. The beer has got a very light hazy golden-amber colour with a steady head and crisp body. Aroma of hops and mango. Taste of fresh hops, exotic fruits, oranges, mandarinas, pineapple, flowers, spruce and light herbs. Quaffable and smooth to drink, good one.

500 ml bottle @ Patricks. Dark golden body with an off-white head. Quite weak malty aroma with just a hint of citric fruit. Flavor is malt with notes of citric fruit and moderate bitterness. Medium body. A good looking OK beer, but pretty straight forward with nothing extra at all.

UPDATED: MAY 3, 2014 Hazy in appearance with an excellent, juicy hop aroma. The flavor is very much what a great APA is supposed to be, great hoppiness mixed with a good maltiness and a juiciness that balances the dryness. Overall this was slightly more bitter than other APAs, giving this a bit of uniqueness to complement the rest, making this among the best APAs.
