Hazy yellow/orange with a thick white lasting head. Aroma has notes of wheat malt, spices, flowers, hay and yeast. Taste is spicy and and flowery with notes of coriander, oranges, cloves, hay, yeast. Dry finish. ClubGonzo (5683) - Bergen, NORWAY - NOV 18, 2012
Bottle from Vinmonopolet in Valkendorfsgate, Bergen. Cloudy deep honey-hued body with a big creamy off-white head. Aroma is saison yeast, apricot, flowers (dandelion, perhaps?), sweet grass-like tones, coriander, pale malts and hints of cinnamon. Complex and intriguing. Taste is sweet floral heather, with subtle and not-so-subtle spice elements in fiery interaction: clove, banana, coriander, grass, hints of citric peel and herbs. Some white pepper in the back. Nice. Creamy and full mouthfeel. A very nice saison from Kissmeyer, although its complexity does tear on the drinkability after a while. Vignale (4120) - Malmö, SWEDEN - NOV 10, 2012
Bottle from doorstepbrewing. Deep golden, cloudy, big lasting white head. floral, spicy scents of cinnamon, nutmeg, dried flowers, herbs and honey. Refreshing taste, crisp in a nice saison kind of way, orangepeel, flowers, well balanced, little bitterness that taste like the inside of orange center. I usually prefer my saisons with less spices but this one was really tasty. gunnar (9922) - Sandnes, NORWAY - NOV 9, 2012

50cl bottle from Vinmonopolet, Vika. Pours hazy dark golden with a large off-white head. Yeasty aroma with floral notes, spices and hints of wheat and citrus. Lightly sweet with hints of honey, flowers and wheat before the spices gets alle the attention. Nice pepper prickeling in the mouth when I let it rest for a while. Cinnamon, cardamon or some other christmassy spice in the aftertaste. Dry finish with a spicy bitterness. Interesting and tasty with a pleasant lasting aftertast. I like the mild pepper burn on the tongue. Nice surprise this one!

Gusher. Huge offwhite lasting head. Clear yellow body with
strong carbonation. Strong spicy, soapy aroma of sandalwood,
cardamom and nutmeg. Dry, and faintly sweet, spicy peppery
cardamom, lavender, and sandalwood taste. Mid-bodied. Faintly
sharp mouthfeel. Dry spicy citrusy lavender and tropical fruit
aftertaste with peppery cardamom notes. Interesting and deeply
unusual. Incredibly vivid flavour, but it really works well. A
very good beer. (0.5l bottle, wine monopoly, Vika, Oslo.) sneevel (83) - - OCT 2, 2012
Cloudy, light orange golden. Some ester and citrus aromas, nicely floral. Doesn’t deliver in the mouth. Dominated by lots of pepper and some astringent bitterness. Doesn’t seem balanced, but it’s complex. rane (1107) - Nibe, DENMARK - SEP 30, 2012
Bottle. This is a strange beer. Golden amber with white head a little cloudy. Aroma pepper, flowers honey, quite strange. Taste goes in many directions peppers and very dry, some spice and hopps as well. Sigmund (8025) - Tau, NORWAY - SEP 20, 2012
500 ml bottle, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 6.0%. Hazy pale golden colour, huge white head. Distinct and unusual spicy / peppery aroma, also floral notes. Fizzy mouthfeel. The flavour is indeed "bone dry", with loads of green peppercorns (= too much), overpowers the more subtle floral notes. Peppery and hoppy bitterness in the finish and aftertaste. Not my favourite this one. abemorsten (3683) - Mosterøy, NORWAY - SEP 17, 2012
Shared bottle at Cardinal. Slow gushing from the bottle. Large gelatinous off-white head on a hazy golden body. Good lacing. Flowery wit nose with bitter orange peel and wooden notes. Avant garde flavors. Reminds me of pickled and spiced Christmas herring - but not in a fishy way. Bitter and spicy. Long finish with notes of Norwegian Christmas bread. Medium body.
