Clear medium orange amber colour with a small average, frothy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, pale nutty - earthy. Flavour is moderate to light light heavy sweet and light to moderate bitter with a long to average duration, sweet malt, caramel, earthy - nutty, malt bitter. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

Bamberg Bash Day 2. Tap at the brewpub. Clear amber beer, small pale cream coloured head. Smooth malt, semi sweet. Light floralness and berry fruits. Touch of violets. Light finish. Tasty and interesting.

Draft at the brewery during the Bamberg Jolly of January 2014. Pours clear, amber-gold wit a creamy head. The beer holds sugary bread, some brown bread, toffee. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Sweet finish with notes of toasted brown bread. Good one, if a little simple.
