Nettes Bierchen, das mich dennoch nicht vom Hocker gehauen hat. Angenehm süffig mit einigen Teilen Malz und Nuss sowie etwas Karamell. Trinkbar, ausbalanciert, langweilig.

Bottle from Geträke Kistner in Bamberg. The beer pours out in a hazy golden-brown colour with steady head and medium body. Aroma of barley and bread with some hoppy hints. Taste of mils hops, barley, straw, nuts, malt and bread. Mild and quaffable beer. Enjoyed it.

0,5l Flasche, Gelbes etwas trübes Bier mit kleiner Schaumkrone. Riecht malzig nach Getreide. Schmeckt auch so, sehr süffig und erfrischend.

TAR (2802) - Blue Ridge Mountains, North Carolina, USA - JUN 9, 2014
Draught half-liter at Franconian Bierfest Nürnberg, June 2013: Pale bright straw. Broken foamy white head. Subdued perfumey and estery aromas of dried peach and honeysuckle, with hints of grass. Loose carbonation deposits some foamy residue on the tongue. Minerals and lemon precede a sharp hay-tinged pils malt dryness, up front. Malt is clean and exhibits some refined bounce as it gracefully dovetails with a fresh albeit muted kiss of flowers. Candyish lager yeast bites at the palate which augments the strikingly clean and lean body. Ample malt succulence reinforces the core with the starchy grip of hay and an understated lemon cake sweetness, as does a splash of hop-derived nectar. Dabs of grass line the characterfully yeasty, honey-tinged finish. Carbonation could use some tightening and overall it’s a tad timid, but no flaws are apparent. Not bad.

0.5l bottle. Hazy light golden body, white head. Aroma of bread, floral hops and some cheesy yeast. Taste of bread and floral hops. Very balanced brew. Nothing extraordinary, but it’s a nice everyday beer.
