Can from lawson as Kizakura kyoto pale ale for 320 yen. Golden color fine white head persisrent and lacing. Light haze. Aroma is uncertain ale a bit sour vaguely fruity, it would not be surprising if they used sake yeast. Light body creamy texture light bitter carbonated extra dry finish.

Bottle served cold. Pours a pale yellow with a foamy but far from magnificent head. Muted aroma and quite thin on the palate. Well carbonated with notes of grapefruit. Not particularly interesting not to say not refreshing.

Can in Kyoto. It’s a pretty light, thin pale ale. A bit sweet. A bit bitter. Crisp finish. Not impressed.

Can. Kyoto, Japan. Pours pale amber yellow and opaque as hefeweizen with a medium white foam residing. Scent is an interesting and seemingly unique complexion of saison or maybe even berry fruit notes. Taste is a strange complexion with half lager properties and half saison but dry and a bit like tonic. Surprisingly strange beer. Very good.

33cl bottle from eDrinks, Tallinn. Pours slightly hazy golden with a small, but dense, white head. Mild malty aroma with some fruity notes and hints of sour berries. Moderate sweet with fairly low flavour intensity and a light bitterness. Nothing to interesting going on here.

Can of "Gold". Hazy, dull gold, light apple nose, not a lot of maltiness. Dull, yeasty, kinda sour. Just a poorly made beer, unimpressed.

Rask0lnikov (1177) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - JUN 30, 2016
330ml bottle from TIKS. Slightly hazy dark yellow colour. Modest white head. Caramel, malts, herbal notes, sourness in the aroma. Malty, sweet beginning. Caramel, hints of grass, herbal notes, sweetness, hints of bread and caramel in the end. Sweet, malty aftertaste. Rather medium bodied, medium carbonated, quite sweet, not refreshing beer with quite messy palate. Not bad, but not good brew either.
