COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Aged 4 months.

gyllenbock (9711) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - JUN 7, 2015
Bottle from Systembolaget, e-order in December 2013. Almost black with a small tan head. Smooth and with chocolate, bourbon, light vanilla and some dried fruit. The mouthfeel was creamy. A pleasant one.

@ Gyllenbock 15-6-6: stora dofter och smaker av mörk choklad och söt burbon. Mycket len munnkänsla. Den har åldrats rätt bra. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone ---- Soberness not garanteed!

(Bottle). Pleasant fragrance with tart and fruity aromas of roasted malt and bourbon. Big taste of roasted malt, chocolate and bourbon. Some barrel and vanilla in the finish. In my view, however, a bit of to sour taste, I want my Porter more dry and smooth.

nimbleprop (8723) - SouthWest, Washington, Washington DC, USA - FEB 6, 2014
12oz bottle via Secret Santa Winter 2013-2014. Pours a nearly opaque, deep mahogany brown with ruby edges, and some thin, off white head. Nose is fairly mild in the grand scheme of things, malt, molasses, some mild smoke, the smoke is almost like a char like a charred mushroom, some cocoa nibs, some pencil lead, a little soy. Flavors follow suit, a little fruit sweetness up front, plum, dried cherry, a little raisin, then the malt comes through, burnt biscuit, bread crust, molasses, some cola. Not a ton of barrel, which isn’t a bad thing. Full bodied, but dry at the same time. I guess the barrel comes through towards the end with a little vanilla, a little bit of grain alcohol. I’ve had better, but I’ve had much worse.

Ungstrup (38248) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - JAN 31, 2014
Bottled. A black beer with a brown head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt, soy sauce, and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of alcohol, roasted malt, bourbon, and wood, leading to a bitter finish.

omhper (25565) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - DEC 30, 2013
Bottled, from Systembolaget. Near black, small head. Licorice and coffee, notes of vanilla in the nose. Dryish with medium body and clean, rounded mouthfeel and heavy carbonation. Lots of coffee, just slight notes of vanilla.
