Taste is the same more vanilla and mid dark chocoalte and fine creamy coffee..a little alcohol bite in the end but it goes well with the vanilla.
Nice palate to this one .

UPDATED: NOV 15, 2015 Bought at the grocery store, came in a nice pint sized bottle. Traditional Porter flavor, high alcohol content. No complaints.

Serving: from bottle--purchased at Made in Oregon.
Aroma: light pumpernickel and vanilla aroma.
Appearance: average-sized, creamy, light-brown, initial head with fair lacing and fully diminishing longevity. Dark reddish-brown body.
Taste: light acidic initial flavor and moderately sweet toasted bread and vanilla finish with long duration.
Palate: medium-to heavy body with oily texture and soft carbonation.
Overall: this is an outstanding porter. Great aroma with a flavor to match. I’d like to try it from the tap. baraciisch (3239) - California, USA - JUL 19, 2014
Dark brown in color... Aroma is huge vanilla, chocolate notes... Flavor is smooth, chocolate and vanilla dominate... Amazing

Bomber in Portland. Roasted malt aroma with chocolate, vanilla and a bit of coffee. Pours black with a thin light brown head with decent retention and some lacing. Starts with good roasted malt flavors with chocolate sweetness added in. Finishes really smooth with a nice bit of vanilla and a touch of coffee. Nice vanilla porter. douglas88 (9192) - Portland, Oregon, USA - MAR 24, 2012
Bottle at Beermongers. Pours a pure black color with a medium brown head. The aroma is sweet coffee and vanilla. The flavor is very nice; rich, oily, roast and coffee, lots of sweet vanilla. Tasty. pdx77 (1483) - Oregon, USA - MAY 20, 2013
From bottle. Black with tan head. Aroma of dark toasty malts, chocolate, and hint of vanilla. Vanilla is much more prevalent in the flavor, fitting nicely with the dark chocolate and roastiness. Finishes sweet and lingers on the palate. sueandron (12) - Sublimity, Oregon, USA - JUL 28, 2015
Not too portery in taste. The initial taste is vanilla, the finish is chocolate. Now if they can add strawberry, it would be a 4.5 bhensonb (15234) - Woodland, California, USA - JUL 21, 2012

Bomber from Harry & David in Medford, OR. Pours dark brown with a foamy tan head. Aroma is vanilla and what seems to be smoke. Med body. Flavor is vanilla, coffee and a little smoke. Hint of chocolate. It’s very smooth. Almost creamy in texture. It approaches sweet, but it seems slightly on the bitter side. Clearly nothing objectionable here, and it’s something of a tasty treat.
