Draught. Black pour with off white head. Slight aroma malt and vanilla. Lekker flavour, malt, vanilla med ’n bietje hop. Creamy texture, but not too creamy

A very nice vanilla Porter overall. Pours a deep red/black with a grey head. Smells great, sweet vanilla, hazelnut and licorice. Taste has a very nut brown backing, vanilla upfront, follow by licorice and a bit of a root beer bite in the finish. Had in the bottle. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draft. Blackish beer with a tan head. Light vanilla aroma. Vanilla and caramel flavor. Medium bodied. Vanilla and light caramel linger with light roast.

(En fût à la source): Essence de vanille, pile de cendre et une sécheresse abrupte. Pas vilain.

Pours a thin, white head atop a deep brown body. Nose of toasty, cocoa and vanilla. Flavour is purely vanilla, deep and brown sugar. Okay.

Bottle - Sweet syrupy chocolate and vanilla. Deep brown with a light brown head. Bitter cocoa and some sweet vanilla. Not bad.

Tasting at Matt’s
Dark brown color with small head. Light vanilla aroma, cheap chocolate. The vanilla and the dark malts create a flavor that is a bit artificial, cheap chocolate.
Not a bad beer, but it just goes in one direction, so if you like that direction…

mcberko (18979) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - MAR 2, 2016
22 oz. bottle, pours a deep dark brown / near-black with a small beige head. Aroma brings out loads of vanilla upfront, followed by a touch of coffee. Flavour is along the same lines, with loads of vanilla upfront, with secondary notes of coffee and a touch of roast. Simple, but well-made for what it is. Solid stuff.

Bomber in Portland. Roasted malt aroma with chocolate, vanilla and a bit of coffee. Pours black with a thin light brown head with decent retention and some lacing. Starts with good roasted malt flavors with chocolate sweetness added in. Finishes really smooth with a nice bit of vanilla and a touch of coffee. Nice vanilla porter.
