Bottle @ Post-Easter Procrastination, Ulfborg. Pours oily dark amber with some sediment and small off-white head. Clear aroma of barrel, vanilla, and malt, with notes of caramel and yeast. Sweetish flavour of barrel and vanilla, with notes of alcohol, caramel malt and yeast and touches of hops. Bitter and sweetish aftertaste. Interesting. Not bad, either. Tasty beer, indeed a porter with some triaits of a Belgian dubbel. Results in a relatively sweet and yeasty porter, with notes of coffee and cacao. mile (3947) - Helsinki, FINLAND - APR 12, 2014
Bottle. Light amber, hazy, average and mostly diminishing light brown head. Moderate, malty and sweetish aroma, some caramel and light roasted malt, light fruitiness and citrus. Body is medium, malty and lightly sweetish flavor, some caramel and light fruitiness, light grassy hoppyness, faint alcohol. Finish is average, malty and lightly sweetish, light caramel and faint roasted malt, faint sourness, light grassy hoppyness and alcohol. Not a porter, not a dubbel. Just a weird curiosity. Not for me. Not too sweet though. fonefan (49435) - VestJylland, DENMARK - MAR 18, 2014

330ml bottle brought back from The Lowlands by the in-laws. Pours opaque chestnut solidly capped with beige. Sweet, enticing warm brown sugar, muscovado, yeasty stone fruit, prune and laundry aroma. Yeasty and malty in equal measure with an attractive brown sugar slickness; nectarine and plum, prune, soft lactic, carob and malt loaf notes. Sweet but balanced. Rounded, tasty... doppelbock I’d say. tricksta_p (4663) - Steenwijk, NETHERLANDS - JAN 24, 2014
Pours a deep dark brown with a beige head. Aroma of roasted malts, chocolate, coffee, dark fruits. Flavour is malty medium sweetness, dried fruits. I enjoyed it a lot. Christos (5792) - Arnhem, NETHERLANDS - OCT 27, 2013
Bottle 330 ml at home, poured into a snifter. ABV 7%
Pours a light brown/dark amber colour on the body, with an enormous off-white head on top. Very thick, soapy, with fantastic retention, leaving heavy lacing around the glass as it collapses.
Aroma of light caramel, spices, alcohol.
Taste is slighty metallic on the finish but quite good. Again very light caramel and lots of spices and herbs, with an alcohol touch at the end. Very mildly bitter on the aftertaste.
Medium thick body, good carbonation.
Overall quite nice.
