caesar (7133) - Bunnik/Utrecht, NETHERLANDS - APR 17, 2014
Bottled, 2013 version at 13%, BB May 2015, large sample. A gusher, what a surprise from Klein Duimpje, not. Hazy orange to amber color, medium frothy off-white head. Aroma of appelmoes (sweet apple), some caramel malt, hint of raisin, bit spicy yeast, some alcohol. Initial taste is a bit sweet and a bit bitter, then loads of alcohol and iron wash every subtlety away. Quite high on carbonation. Basically, this just sucks big time.

bierkoning (13352) - La Tropica/Doarp, NETHERLANDS - APR 10, 2014
Bottle, 13%. Amber colro, cloudy. Malt, plums and anis in the aroma. Malty sweet, alcoholic flavor. Plums and peach. Just a bit out of balance.

Christos (5743) - Arnhem, NETHERLANDS - DEC 22, 2013
Bottle 330 ml at home, the 13% ABV version, poured into a trappist glass. Small off-white head. Body has a deep dark orange colour, moslty clear. The head has an okay retention considering it’s small size, big bubble islands left on the surface and a ring of lacing around the glass’s walls. Aroma is fruity, with peaches and apricots, sugar, quite sweet as an aroma, reminds me of..what? Fruit flavoured medicine somehow, or maybe vitamines. Not necessarily bad. Soem white grapes too, with a touch of tartness in it. Taste is malty, with grains, caramel, little bit of nuts, sugar, peaches. Some grapes again, tasting "dirty", like a homemade harsh wine, soil. The alcohol very well hidden as a flavour but notable as a warming feeling on the body and after a while as a buzzing feeling in the head. Still, quite complex. Body is medium, carbonation is okay. Dry on the palate but also kind of sticky. Overall a pretty decent and surely interesting beer. Klein Duimpje surprises me pleasantly lately with some of their brews.

ShivanDragon (4120) - Leeuwarden, NETHERLANDS - NOV 10, 2013
Licht wazig amber met witte kraag, alcoholpercentage van 13%. Lichte gusher. Aroma: citrus, floraal, grapefruit, zeer fris hoppig, lekker. Smaken: stevige alcohol, fruitig( citrus, grapefruit, perzik), matig zoet, matig bitter, champagnegist, prikkelende hoge co2, lekker hoppig. Matige body, prikkelende champagne achtige co2. Goed fris en stevig bier.

oh6gdx (26488) - Vasa, FINLAND - NOV 1, 2013
Bottled. Hazy deep orange/pale brown colour with a mediumsized white head, that leaves some lace. Aroma is toffee, some sweet fruits and mild alcoholic notes. Flavour is tropical fruits along with some bitterness and mild sweet malts and alcohol. Very simplistic as such, and the fruitiness really surprised me in a positive way. More like a Belgian Strong Ale than Quadrupel though...

Bottle from ABC Beers, Den Haag. Poured a clear medium amber with a thin white head, lots of broken lace and low carbonation. The aroma is strong yeast, citrus fruit and big alcohol. The flavour is medium bitter which is rather surprising considering the ABV, with a thin bodied watery medicinal palate and a weak thin short bitter finish.

Bottle at a Ratebeer "sticky floor" tasting, Den Haag. Poured an orange reddish colour with a round white head and no lace. The aroma is fruity grapefruit and malt. The taste is bitter alcoholic and yeasty. A decent beer but highly carbonated.

deanso (10132) - Chiang Mai, THAILAND - OCT 28, 2013
33cl bottle from ABCBeers The brewer said that it came out waaay stronger than the previous brew at 13%. Thin creamy white head. Hazy golden blond pour. Thin bodied, noticable alcohol. Ok

sic1314 (4775) - Leiden, NETHERLANDS - JAN 31, 2013
Poured a cloudy light amber with a large tan head. Aroma of dark fruit and alcohol soaked malt. Medium body, flavour as per the aroma with lingering sweetness.

MrHangover (4540) - Den Haag, NETHERLANDS - JAN 12, 2013
Bottle. Gusher! Pours a murky brown beer with a big tanned head. Aroma has ripe fruits and loads of yeast. Flavor is very sweet, light alcoholic. Again full of yeasty, fruity esters. Not very impressive, but still enjoyable.

kermis (13352) - The Hague / Amsterdam, NETHERLANDS - DEC 4, 2012
Bottle shared at Deans sticky floor tasting. Pours amber with no head. Aroma is nasty caramel vegetables. Flavour is bad, super sweet. Best just adding to the sticky floor.
