Draught @ Nederlands Biercafe t Arendsnest, Herengracht 90, Amsterdam, Netherlands 1015 BS.
Unclear hazy medium red orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, fruity, moderate hoppy, orange - citrus, overriped orange, moderate yeasty, overriped fruit, light alcohol. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, overriped fruity, yeasty, alcoholic - peppery finish, spicy star anis - licorice notes. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.
Bottled. Hazy deep orange/pale brown colour with a mediumsized white head, that leaves some lace. Aroma is toffee, some sweet fruits and mild alcoholic notes. Flavour is tropical fruits along with some bitterness and mild sweet malts and alcohol. Very simplistic as such, and the fruitiness really surprised me in a positive way. More like a Belgian Strong Ale than Quadrupel though... cgarvieuk (24156) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - SEP 25, 2010
tap at t’arendsnest ....murky amber ... thin white head ... sweet toffe fruit and pine hop nose ... big juicy fruits ... little citrus swweetness ... little peach ... citrus peel yngwie (17038) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - JUL 11, 2015
Bottle. A lightly hazy one, dark golden-orange in color and with a small, off-white head. The aroma is sugary and malty, quite fruity and with a certain warmth. Canned tropical fruits, white sugar, malts and alcohol in the flavor. Full body, soft carbonation and a little warmth in the mouth. Lasting finish. Lacks on bitterness this one, it’s too sweet as well. Not my kind of beer. 150711 Benzai (15433) - Oirschot, THE NETHERLANDS, NETHERLANDS - FEB 2, 2012
Sampled @ PINT Winterbierfestival, Gouda 2012. Cloudy hazy orange color, small white to off-white head. Smell malts, slightly sour hints, overripe fruits and slightly alcohol. Taste sweet, alcohol, herbs and overripe fruits. Ok carbonation, medium body.

Bottle shared at Deans sticky floor tasting. Pours amber with no head. Aroma is nasty caramel vegetables. Flavour is bad, super sweet. Best just adding to the sticky floor. Meilby (11365) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - JUL 11, 2015
