Craft Islington bottle share. Thanks to Fergus. Hazy deep amber beer, good cream colour head. Airy palate, dry and with decent fine carbonation. Smooth sweet dry malts. Spicy esters. Ripe fruits. Dry spicy finish. Yeasty sweet.
Bouteille de 33cl. Couleur cola sombre, mousse crêmeuse abondante et de belle tenue. Arômes fruités et de malts torréfiés, liqueur de fruit, alcool. Belle carbonnation. Trouvée à Roby - Menin. drpimento (3814) - La Crosse, Wisconsin, USA - MAY 9, 2017
Really disappointing. I’ve had at least one of this breweries beers before and it was much better. This one well I’m not normally a fan of anise and beer I do like anise and I love beer so I thought I’d give it a whirl. But this flavor is almost putrid. Caramel, dark molasses, biscuit, honey. Clear, dark brown, small, creamy, beige head. Medium sweet. More dark malts, caramel, toffee, dark fruits, ripe and sweet, soft carbonation, medium bodied. Nice BSA, well-balanced. Bottle shared at CBC Islington tasting - thanks to mR_fr0g! The_Osprey (9690) - Richmond, Greater London, ENGLAND - MAY 1, 2017
April 2017 - Bottle share at CBC Islington. Big thanks to Fergus. As ’Het Nest KlevereTien’, 10%. Dark brown with a red hue, foamy light brown head leaves full lacing. Aroma is very boozy, papery, some solvent and earth. Body is light, pretty frothy with tingly carbonation. Taste is quite drying and boozy, papery, light sugary malt, spicy peppery finish. Not my type of thing at all. Thin bodied, boozy. Nope. (2.5)

Aroma; berries, fruit, malts, cherry candies, liquorice.
Look; beige dense carpet, ultra dark red brown body.
Taste; strong caramel in the floral fruity yeast the belgian way, red berries, liquorice notes - fruity perfumed finish.
Feel; fullbodied n soft dryish.
Overall; perfect sipper for belgobeerians.
A portion too much perfume for me.
Mid-performer. Not really outspoken. Pretty round. Not very sweet, not very bitter, not very intense. Caramel, honey, raisins. Slightly thin in the middle. Very smooth for its 10%, you would expect more oomph.
