500ml can. One of the most well-known Russian beers along with Baltika and SibKor, can be found everywhere, except craft beer shops. Haven’t had this beer for at least 5 years, and I remember it as being not a great one. Pours transparent gold with a small white head. Aroma of adjuncts - rice, corn, and fusels. Light and watery. Just a background beer, as vinivini said, it’s made for snacks. TorbenJensen (1517) - Valby, DENMARK - SEP 11, 2015
Very usual lager with good aroma of hops. Malt is a little high for the type, and it makes it quite tasty. Carbonation is low and soft, which makes it easy to drink. Hop bitterness is at an appropriate level for a lager, but the overall impression is typical mainstream. In a blind tasting, it might as well taste as Heineken, Budweiser one or another mainstream lager. Incorporation of the drink will be suitable fine, precisely because of its carbonation. But it is not a lager that leaves the big impression. Vili (245) - FINLAND - JUL 5, 2015
50cl can. Pale gold, clear pour with minimal head, no lacing. Aroma is weak, maybe hints of fresh bread. Taste is mild, somewhat bitter with sweetish aftertaste. Russian beer at its most basic form.
