Alcohol is way to prevalent. Sweet malt balanced only by the sweet, burn of booze. Bleh. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

[email protected] Pours hazy amber with beige head. Aroma is fruity and malty with caramel and dried fruits. Taste is complex with ripe fruits, caramel and dark malts. Finish is semi-sweet and hides the 11 pct well bit leaves you warm.

Deep amber to ruby colored, unclear, medium off white head, good lasting. Aroma is of caramel malt, brewing sugar, decent amount of fruit, some spices and a touch of alcohol. Taste is medium+ sweet brown sugar, caramel, dark fruits, spicy yeasty, low+ bitterness, bittersweet finish. Medium to full bodied, soft carbonation, creamy. Alcohol well hidden and not that sugary sweet as expected.

Nocturne (1927) - Cheshire, ENGLAND - SEP 17, 2015
Tap at Waterhuis aan de Bierkant, Gent. Hazy orange shade. Big white head. Lots of orange peel fruitiness and spicy yeast-driven flavour. Definitely a big beer but goes down easy. Impressive drinkability and thankfully not too sweet. This one seems to polarise opinion but I like it.

NikkTwist (2953) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 17, 2015
Draft at Khyber Pass. Hazy dark orange amber pour with a large lasting creamy head. Modestly full distinctive Belium caramel bread flavors up front that finish ridiculously smooth. The 11% ABV is extremely well hidden. Feels like a ghost at the end - until minutes later when the alcohol gently numbs the tongue. Simple notes extraordinarily executed.

Clear amber liquid, large head. Weak, sweet aroma. Heavy body, little carbonation. Taste is sweet and heavy.
