2017-09-07- tap @ Kloster Machern Dunkelbraun, beige Krone. Aroma malzig, etwas röstig, ganz leicht metallisch. Antrunk malzig, Karamell, nussig, gegen Ende etwas Säure vom Röstmalz.

Swing top bottle, thanks Beerhunter111! Dark Brown color. Caramel And chocolate in the aroma. Malty sweetish, bready caramelly flavor with milk chocolate. Almost Full bodied. Decent.

Gutes Bier!

Prefer this over the helles even though it is less complex. Just beautiful little flavors. Sweet, iron, chalk. Nice.

Bottle from trade with Beerhunter111, many thanks. Dark brown colored beer with huge beige head. Aroma of caramel malt, notes of coffee, bredy notes. Taste, sweet caramel, notes of coffee, chocolate, nutty notes. Surprisingly good since I don;t like Dunkels so much.

Many thanks to Beerhunter111 for this 0,5l bottle. Best before 20.01.2015. Malty-smooth beginning. Fresh, easy to drink. A malty, slightly roasted and nice liquorice-dry aroma appears in the mainpart, but stays quite low below the quite dry malty body. The aftertaste is long, nice dry malty. Full-bodied, nice and round. Hints of nuts, dry caramel, not much sweetness. Great and refreshing Dunkel!

BAcklog rating. Bottle at the Chriso’s May tasting, London. It pours a caramel color with a small tan head. Aroma is acidic and sour, with skunk and green apples. Taste is sour and acidic, with puke, vegetables and lemon. Badly infected, horrible

Bottle shared at Chrisso’s May 2014 tasting 25/05/2014. Thanks to Matt. Hazed burnt orange coloured pour with a halo of off white head. Aroma is earthy, putrd rotting veg, poo. Tart apples, dark malts, off veg. What the fuck is this? Palate is sharp and highish carbonation. Undrinkable.

Tasting at the ever gracious ChrisO’s. Hazy deep amber beer, tidy pale cream coloured head. Palate is airy and dry. Fine carbonation. Some caramel and dried fruits amid the horrible infection flavours. Light finish. Very bad indeed.
