henrikb (1263) - Aarhus, DENMARK - AUG 24, 2008
Hazy amber body, lasting off white head; big nose with tons of blueberry, but lots of grain aromas behind; Huge carbonation in quite bitter body, not interesting; Malty bitter finish, lots of grain aromas.

Bottle at home. very well lagered, but not very well fermented with a - due to high residual sugars - long lasting head. sort of malt and caramel aromas but not well balanced. ordinary trial of a strong beer-type. not rough enough for a dark bock

Draught @ Ølfestival Aarhus 2008.
Unclear medium to dark amber orange color with a average, frothy - creamy, good lancing, mostly - fully lasting, off-white to beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, caramel, old malt, spicy / berry, fruity. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a average duration. (Sweetness is fruty malt). Body is medium, texture is oily to watery - syrupy, carbonation is soft. (170508)

Botella. Pours a nice hazy brown colour with a big well lasting creamish off-white head. Sweet malty and yeasty flavour. Quite good mouthfeel. The flavour is sweet with yeast, a good toasty maltiness, some spice and alcohol. Malty and yeasty good finish.
