Bottle, at Haand Festival. It’s a dark beer, almost black, with a dense, finger-thick head, dark beige in color. Caramel and brown sugar in the aroma, lightly roasted. It’s full-bodied and nicely carbonated, with roasted malts and caramel dominating the flavor. Some brown sugar and a faint bitterness too, guess it’s more bitter than detected. Dry on the palate, with a lasting finish. Yet another high quality beer from Klostergården. 150529 Cunningham (8077) - Halden, NORWAY - JUN 14, 2015
