unfortunately, too high carbonation and little waterly. but you can find some traces of noble hops. also there is no bad smell. among korean lagers, kloud is quite good.

Bottle (330ml) in Brisbane. Sweet corn syrup plus cardboard aromas and flavours. Rather sickly. No hop presence to speak of. Unpleasant metallic finish. Pretty bad to be honest. Appears clear golden with a small white head.

So Alex knows where to go: Bottle, Legacy
Dull gold with a thin white head. Not much carbonation for a macrobrew. The aroma is heavy damp grains and plastics. On the palate, it’s sweet, almost cloying. Low carbonation does not help this much. Still higher alcohols and plasticy phenols. No hop, and really you wouldn’t peg the sweet character as malt, either. The faults aren’t severe enough to lay down a 0.5, but honestly there’s nothing at all you’d want to drink in a beer, I guess besides alcohol.

From a bottle. Very smooth finish, not as bad as I’d expected with the travel to here and all.

KyotoLefty (10264) - Kyoto, JAPAN - APR 1, 2017
Tap at Inchon. Decent malty nose, grainy, helles-like, light hops. Sweet and grainy, malty, touch of citrus. Medium body. A decent all-Malt lager for South Korea.

Bue en bouteille. Dégueulasse. Vieille bière de soif sur le malt. Aucun intérêt.

Bif (2245) - St. Charles, Missouri, USA - FEB 20, 2017
Bottle. Pours a clear golden color with a big foamy head. Aroma of corn syrup, caramel sweetness and bit of malt. Taste of caramel, malt and corn syrup. Fair bitterness and a sticky finish. Light body, not very well crafted. Similar to other Korean lagers with a bit more malt.

Pyobon (1401) - Sydney, AUSTRALIA - JAN 7, 2017
(Can) Pours clear golden yellow with short lived loose white head. Reasonable aroma - light malt, hints of candy and grass. Light body with reasonable carbonation. Taste is light malt with a hint of slightly metallic bitterness in the finish. It’s not great, but it does seem to be better than many mainstream South Korean beers.

12oz bottle at a local Korean restaurant. Poured a totally clear golden yellow color with a fluffy medium-sized head. Aroma was light corn, grain. Light sweet malts. Corn finish. Exactly what I expected.
