Frisches und sueffiges Bierchen mit ein wenig Gras und einigem an Hopfen. Sehr trinkbar, vollmundig und ausgeglichen. Nicht schlecht.

On tap at the brewpub. Pours out in a hazy light dirty golden colour with steady head and medium body. Aroma of hops and straw. Taste of fresh hops, hay, straw, grains, barley and malt. Flowery finish. Not a bad one.

Erzengel (9462) - Wuppertal, GERMANY - FEB 23, 2014
Golden and slightly hazy in the glass. The beer starts easy to drink, a bit grainy, a bit malty. The mainpart is "brew-pub-typical" grainy-flat, easy to drink and smooth. The aftertaste is medium, a bit grainy, slightly bitter.
Ok, but nothing special. --> 7/12/7/7

Koelschtrinker (21489) - K?ln (Cologne), GERMANY - AUG 19, 2011
Hell herber Antrunk, mäßig frisch. Dabei recht mild, manchmal nahe der Wässrigkeit. Im mittelteil hefier, später noch etwas herber, wodurch das Bier frischer wirkt. Ein Sommerbier, höchstens. 10/8/9/7//8

Bottle, 4.8% bought at the brewpub. Hayish malt aroma. Cloudy yellow colour. Very small white head. The flavour is haylike, bordering on bready. A bit of good yeast flavour, quite clean though.

On draught (at the brewpub): Pale, hazy, yellow coloured, mid-sized firm rocky white head; distinctive sweet-malty and aromatic, grassy hoppy nose; light bodied, moderate to robust bitter-sweet flavour, quite dry, soft MF; grassy bitter, slightly lingering finish. A very aromaic Zwickel. Good !
