Bought bottle from Total wine. Very refreshing and interesting take on a blonde ale. dwyerpg (6368) - Las Vegas, Nevada, USA - APR 25, 2011
This was a pretty refreshing beer. Light character, fairly orange color, really smooth and sessionable. Quite tasty. Cybercat (6013) - Georgia, USA - MAY 27, 2012
Pours a pretty clear amber with a decent white head. Strong aroma has fruity and hoppy notes - quite a bit of hops, in fact, approaching an IPA. Satisfying flavor has a malty core, a fairly bitter overtone of hops, and an underpinning of pear plus a touch of caramel. Firm texture has a decent amount of fizz. 22 ounce bottle - $3.99 at Total Wine & More in Kennesaw, Georgia. The bottle features what appears to be a new label, dumping the broad in favor of a little yellow Labrador pup.

Appearance: Pours out a clear, deep, dark golden body with a smallish, evaporating, white head.
Smell: Moderate scent of butterscotch candy over the basic two-row barley notes and faint hints of lemon and florals.
Taste: Lightly grainy, particularly pale malts. Pinch of powdered sugar. Very slight diacetyl rolling the sweetness into a little taste of butterscotch. Mildly floral, citrusy hops with a passable amount of bitterness, enough to balance things out. A bit more of the butterscotch escorts you to the drying finish.
Mouthfeel: Light-bodied. Medium carbonation.
Overall: Actually, even with the diacetyl, I thought it was an OK blonde.
22oz bomber pours clear deep gold with copper hues and thin off white head. The aroma offers up a light amount of lemon and lime like citrus notes on top and underneath there’s wort like grainy maltiness. Overall it comes together pretty nice. The taste has a modest tart citrus note that quickly picks up floral hops and a bit of spicy hops. Toward midway and into the finish it gets grainy to wort like and a little malty. The modest level of lemon lime like notes grow to tepid levels into the finish along with just a slight resiny hop notes.

Bottle from Best Damn Beer Shop: Had an aroma of grains and cereal and smelled similar to a wort boil of high quality fresh barley malt yet still has a faint background of grassy hops that made this seem rather appetizing to drink. Appearance was a natural golden blonde color with a topping of frothy head that retreated almost instantly. The drink is crisp with a clean taste of grained barely malt along with those grassy notes of hops that came through the nose. One of the better blond ales I have tasted from a bottle. Finish is gentle and smooth on the palate like a pilsner style sometime is. marcus (10565) - Sacramento, California, USA - APR 22, 2011
Bottle from Beer Revolution. Pours clear blonde with a decent off-white head and a toffee aroma. There is a lot of flavor for a low alcohol beer, including caramel, banana and a moderately bitter finish. Drake (14059) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - JUL 31, 2012

Bottle from Taylors Market in Sacramento, CA. Pours orange gold with a fizzy off-white head. Aroma of lightly cooked pale stone fruit. Med body. Flavor is rather fruity. It has a mild citrus bite. Not a typical blonde/golden, and it is very drinkable. Only mildly bitter. Hophead22 (2879) - Redlands, by way of Wisconsin,, California, USA - OCT 29, 2011
22oz bottle. Rating #11. Golden pour with a dark white head. Clean bready, biscuity aroma with just a hint of a hop presence. Nice flavor, light bitterness and a mild grainy quality that was really quite nice. Very enjoyable beer. (1972)
