Pours a clear rust orange with thick white head. A strong floral hop aroma. A strong floral hop, wheat, and grain taste. A dry and slightly bitter aftertaste. lightbias (453) - USA - OCT 28, 2014
The spicy aroma dominates the pour and comes at me like a shelter puppy lookin’ for a new home. A soft, white, half-inch head tops the amber brew and lifts the scent of caramel and heavily spiced banana out of the glass with a vengeance.
The lacing is thick and persistent on the glass, coating the sides and drying sticky in minutes. The taste is heavy, but the palate almost light and a little sticky, as if the two were wrestling to dominate the beer. Instead, the fight balances the adventure.
Very bitter, but not unpleasant, very spicy and almost peppery with a perfect amount of carbonation that persists through the bottle. A long bitter finish for a brew with flavors like this almost always bring me around to thoughts of more, and this brew does not disappoint. I’m glad I have a bomber...one more glass....why wouldn’t I? AndySnow (7621) - Huddinge, SWEDEN - OCT 9, 2014

Bomber bottled in June 2014 shared by this one guy. Pours a really cloudy light orange with a tall and dense white head. The aroma is packing a decent hop bouquet with fruity esters and a hefty malt base. Notes of lozenges jump out with cheesy undertones and pine. The flavor packs some well defined pine character which makes me think the cheesy notes aren’t stale hops, but a related to the yeast. It isn’t unpleasant at all. The finish is strongly bitter, the 102 ibu claim seems almost reasonable. Strong notes of lemon are present throughout.

Tap at Gingerman as part of flight during lunch probably a mistake this may have got me a little buzzed during work but not a mistake since quite tasty. pours orange with big citrusy hop nose. tastes of pineapple, grapefruit, pine, orange, malt, belgian yeast, and a touch chemical. pretty nice Iphonephan (6988) - Jackson Hole/McLean, Virginia, USA - SEP 2, 2014
From a 22 oz bottle shared in Avon NC. Pours a clear copper with an off white head. Aroma of pine. Flavors of orange and spruce resin. Malty backbone. Bitter fiinish. slowrunner77 (12043) - Reno, Nevada, USA - AUG 30, 2014
"Not really getting a whole lot of Belgian anything in this. The only noticeable difference is a drier body that actually takes away just a tiny bit from the regular Hoptologist. Very good, but no reason for this in their lineup." IPABevyGuy (67) - New York, USA - AUG 26, 2014
Piney, little bit of caramel sweetness and a nice citrus body. Hops are very prevalent and hang around long after the finish BLADT (700) - Brooklyn, New York, USA - AUG 19, 2014
Tap. Clean pinkish-gold color. Head on the thin side. Minimal webbing. Nice, fresh nose of hemp, orange and pine, in that order. Toffee malts behind. Medium body. Taste starts sweet - sweet malts - and moves to bitter. More orange and pine. Creamy mouthfeel. High abv hid well. Nice stuff.
