Tap. Clean pinkish-gold color. Head on the thin side. Minimal webbing. Nice, fresh nose of hemp, orange and pine, in that order. Toffee malts behind. Medium body. Taste starts sweet - sweet malts - and moves to bitter. More orange and pine. Creamy mouthfeel. High abv hid well. Nice stuff. Habanero (4684) - Tranbjerg, DENMARK, DENMARK - AUG 13, 2014
Bottled. Pours amber with an average, white head. Aroma of yeast, caramel, citrus fruits, especially grapefruit. Sweet flavor that ends up dry an solid bitter. Medium bodied, oily texture and soft carbonation. A very nice DIPA. Homer321 (5077) - Melboring, Florida, USA - JUL 22, 2014
Draft at brewery. Strong perfume and citrus in the nose, some apple and pear. Taste is a wonderful compliment of fruity esters and hop citrus flavors. This blend works well and the yeast doesn’t impart any harsh or undesirable phenols. Well done for a style I don’t typically like. ctaylo (14) - California, USA - JUL 6, 2014
22 oz bottle from BevMo based on recommendation from a friend. To me it could have used a bit more maltiness to balance the hops.

In a trade-thanks, Roy! Slightly cloudy copper. Malty, caramel nose, don’t get a lot of hops or belgian yeast notes. Malty, slightly dank IPA, but prefer this to the original based on memory. No Simtra but a solid DIPA.

Really nice Belgiany DIPA here from Knee Deep. Elements of the OG brew with a nice floral tropical hop note, hints of straw and grass, and a big sweet malt front. The Belgian yeast adds a lovely layer of complexity fruiting the beer our even further. Good stuff! RobertLiley1 (39) - - MAY 24, 2014
Poor very thick looking nice lacing. The malt is the first thing I taste! Overall a very mellow tasting DIPA tmongoose (2504) - Louisville, Kentucky, USA - MAY 21, 2014

Draft. Mango and pine aroma, with a mild bitter taste with a long finish. Aroma is great didn’t really pick up the Belgian yeast. I very much enjoyed this twist on the Hoptologist. Zymurgeist2 (2253) - Redwood City, California, USA - APR 12, 2014
Has been a couple of years since the Belgian IPA craze. Combination of pine, slight citrus and yeasty bread. Clear copper with a white head. Citrus more present on the flavor. Yeast well represented. Moderate high bittering. A little in unbalanced.
