Bottle. Pours clear amber with a small white head that dissipates fairly quickly leaving a ring of foam and decent lacing. Aroma is an interesting mix of citrus, mango, belgian yeast, touch of funk. Flavor is about the same, light sweet, medium bitter, yeasty. Medium body, creamy mouthfeel. In my opinion this one is too far on the "Belgian" side. The hop presence is limited to a single note "bitter" rather than the citrus/floral medli that you get from the regular hoptologist. AndySnow (8470) - Huddinge, SWEDEN - OCT 9, 2014

Bomber from hayduke that we had together via facebook chat. Very hazy golden orange in color and it wears a one finger almost white head. Aroma is fruit, cat pee, earth, spice, and candy. First sip is complex hops that tend toward tropical fruit. It is earthy and herbal. It brings some nice tropical fruit with a little stone fruit. Malts are not really noticed but some cereal maybe. The Belgian thing is hardly noticed as well. This is a nice double IPA. Iphonephan (7637) - Jackson Hole/McLean, Virginia, USA - SEP 2, 2014

22 ounce bottle into tulip glass, bottled on 4/12/2013. Pours slightly hazy bright orange color with a 2 finger dense white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Light spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass. Aromas of big grapefruit, orange zest, orange rind, lemon zest, tangerine, clove, pepper, bubblegum, honey, light banana, floral, pine, and yeast earthiness. Very nice aromas with good balance and complexity of hop and yeast notes; with good strength. Taste of grapefruit, lemon zest, orange zest, tangerine, orange rind, clove, pepper, bubblegum, pine, floral, light honey, light banana, and yeast earthiness. Good amount of pine bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of citrus, citrus zest, clove, pepper, bubblegum, pine, floral, light honey, light banana, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice balance and complexity of hop and yeast flavors; with a great spicy yeast ester and bitterness balance; and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a crisp, sticky, and slightly slick mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with only a small warming noticed after the finish. Overall this is an excellent Belgian DIPA!. All around great balance and complexity of hop and yeast ester flavors; and very smooth to sip on. Really enjoyed this one. Bottle: The aroma consists of tropical fruits, pineapple, candi sugar, and citrus/grapefruit. It pours a transparent golden-orange with a small soapy off-white head. There’s a good amount of thin webbing on the sides of the glass. The flavor starts with tropical fruits, faint banana, and candi sugar. The finish has moderate spice, grapefruit, and a hint of lemon peel. It’s medium bodied with mild carbonation. joeneugs (6372) - Livermore, California, USA - JUN 26, 2013
22 oz. bomber fresh. It pours a dark orange color with a small off white head that lingers. The aroma is not what I expected. Lots of lime and candy sugar. Some mild florals and caramel malt. The flavor is sweet and candy like with lime, citrus, caramel, florals, clove and a rather off putting phenolic and alcohol character that makes this a bit difficult to drink. Barely passable as something that I would drink…. poured out about 6 ounces of the bomber. I was hoping for a drier, hoppier beer. hayduke (5762) - Eureka, California, USA - MAY 3, 2017
