Really nice Belgiany DIPA here from Knee Deep. Elements of the OG brew with a nice floral tropical hop note, hints of straw and grass, and a big sweet malt front. The Belgian yeast adds a lovely layer of complexity fruiting the beer our even further. Good stuff!

Pours a copper orange with a two finger off white head with excellent lacing. Aroma is of belgian yeast, citrus, pine, sweet malts, banana, pepper and cloves, spicy hops, and candied fruits. Taste is about the same as the aroma but as the light boozy notes which detracts from the beer. Has a medium body with a slightly watery mouthfeel and a dry, moderately bitter, slightly boozy, medium finish. Overall, a pretty good belgian DIPA that could do without some of its boozy notes.

Pours a clear rust orange with thick white head. A strong floral hop aroma. A strong floral hop, wheat, and grain taste. A dry and slightly bitter aftertaste.

Hazy, bright orange in color with a fine white head, this beer has a very oily aroma of floral, herbal, slightly spicy hops that are fresh and sharp on the nose. Nomnom! A touch of bready sweetness balances things out as the light, but soft mouthfeel cozies my palate up to a dash of caramel malts. This is very effervescent, oily, herbal, sharp, and almost floral. Really, really beautiful.

On tap at Battleship. Pours a clear golden color with hardly any head. Aroma is of hops, slight aluminum, grain, bark, earthiness, and a little bit of alcohol. Flavor is basically the same. The hops do taste nice and fresh and this is nicely balanced, but still a little hot. Leaves a citrusy hop finish. Decent stuff right here.

Citrusy grapefruit hoppy aroma with pine, yeast spiciness Pours a clear golden color with lasting white creamy head. Resinous bitter piney hops, yeasty spice. Medium full body, medium co2, lingering bitterness. It's ok. I prefer the original much better. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

The aroma’s so assaultive the smoothness of fhe flavor is a surprise, a little bit of let-down still the flavor--a little thin on the palate--ramps up to a metallic bitter edge, with some alcohol and honey. clear yellow leaning toward amber. Aromas of leather, caramel and malt vinegar...

Light copper, orange hues. The aroma is floral, tangerine, and sweet. Wow, great sharp taste with some funk mixed in perfectly. Dank, resinous, sticky palate with medium carbonation. The mouthfeel is the standout characteristic. Great job Knee Deep! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

I had the Simtra Triple IPA awhile back and it was fabulous! I thought this would be the same. WRONG! Crystal clear. No sediment at all....Suck! I will never buy another BELGO again! Unless it’s from Dieu de Ciel but I doubt they would even make one. If you make a beer like this it should be the best of both styles instead of the worst characteristics of each style. Some mild florals and caramel malt. The flavor is sweet and candy like with lime, citrus, caramel, florals, clove and a rather off putting phenolic and alcohol character that makes this a bit difficult to drink. Barely passable. This beer sucks!
