22 ounce bottle into tulip glass, bottled on 4/12/2013. Pours slightly hazy bright orange color with a 2 finger dense white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Light spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass. Aromas of big grapefruit, orange zest, orange rind, lemon zest, tangerine, clove, pepper, bubblegum, honey, light banana, floral, pine, and yeast earthiness. Very nice aromas with good balance and complexity of hop and yeast notes; with good strength. Taste of grapefruit, lemon zest, orange zest, tangerine, orange rind, clove, pepper, bubblegum, pine, floral, light honey, light banana, and yeast earthiness. Good amount of pine bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of citrus, citrus zest, clove, pepper, bubblegum, pine, floral, light honey, light banana, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice balance and complexity of hop and yeast flavors; with a great spicy yeast ester and bitterness balance; and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a crisp, sticky, and slightly slick mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with only a small warming noticed after the finish. Overall this is an excellent Belgian DIPA!. All around great balance and complexity of hop and yeast ester flavors; and very smooth to sip on. Really enjoyed this one. lightbias (453) - USA - OCT 28, 2014
The spicy aroma dominates the pour and comes at me like a shelter puppy lookin’ for a new home. A soft, white, half-inch head tops the amber brew and lifts the scent of caramel and heavily spiced banana out of the glass with a vengeance.
The lacing is thick and persistent on the glass, coating the sides and drying sticky in minutes. The taste is heavy, but the palate almost light and a little sticky, as if the two were wrestling to dominate the beer. Instead, the fight balances the adventure.
Very bitter, but not unpleasant, very spicy and almost peppery with a perfect amount of carbonation that persists through the bottle. A long bitter finish for a brew with flavors like this almost always bring me around to thoughts of more, and this brew does not disappoint. I’m glad I have a bomber...one more glass....why wouldn’t I? ansermadide (1526) - Kyle, Texas, USA - JUN 24, 2013
Hazy, bright orange in color with a fine white head, this beer has a very oily aroma of floral, herbal, slightly spicy hops that are fresh and sharp on the nose. Nomnom! A touch of bready sweetness balances things out as the light, but soft mouthfeel cozies my palate up to a dash of caramel malts. This is very effervescent, oily, herbal, sharp, and almost floral. Really, really beautiful. badpuppy69 (321) - orange, California, USA - JUL 24, 2013
Pours a hazy copper brownish color lingering thin creamy head. aroma is Belgium yeast upfront and citrucy spicy notes with mild roasted malt. Taste follows the aroma with some lingering hop bitterness on the backend. Im not a Belgium yeast fan but this is very good. skmikeg (1826) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 28, 2013
Pours a copper orange with a two finger off white head with excellent lacing. Aroma is of belgian yeast, citrus, pine, sweet malts, banana, pepper and cloves, spicy hops, and candied fruits. Taste is about the same as the aroma but as the light boozy notes which detracts from the beer. Has a medium body with a slightly watery mouthfeel and a dry, moderately bitter, slightly boozy, medium finish. Overall, a pretty good belgian DIPA that could do without some of its boozy notes.

Nice grassy aroma with a deep clear golden color and a small light beige head. Taste is semi sweet grassy pine goodness. Palate is slightly viscous and goes down smooth. A great brew I highly recommend. BLADT (700) - Brooklyn, New York, USA - AUG 19, 2014
Tap. Clean pinkish-gold color. Head on the thin side. Minimal webbing. Nice, fresh nose of hemp, orange and pine, in that order. Toffee malts behind. Medium body. Taste starts sweet - sweet malts - and moves to bitter. More orange and pine. Creamy mouthfeel. High abv hid well. Nice stuff. salvaticas (893) - - JAN 13, 2015
