Bottle. Orange pour with white head. Spice, fruit, yeast and dank aromas. Dank herbal flavors, grassy and fruit hop flavors perhaps a Belgian hint. marcus (10227) - Sacramento, California, USA - FEB 16, 2013
On tap at Capitol Beer & Tap Room, Sacramento. Pours amber with a clinging off-white head and a citrus and banana aroma. There is a hearty caramel malt flavor with a dry bitter finish. There is an extra layer of yeast influence, as this is the standard Hoptologist recipe with the addition of Belgian yeast. bhensonb (15194) - Woodland, California, USA - FEB 25, 2013
Tap at Capitol Beer in Sacramento, CA. Pours amber with a creamy white head that laces. Aroma is ner cat pee. Med body. flavor is cat pee/citrus. There’s a little fruity est/yeast/spice with a touch of earthiness. This works really well. baraciisch (3234) - California, USA - MAR 12, 2013
Golden orange with lacy white head... Light citrusy aroma with Belgian yeast... Flavor is citrus hops up front, with the Belgian yeast finish on the palate... Great version of the style... Might be my favorite actually jazz88 (2679) - San Francisco, California, USA - JUN 23, 2013
Bottle. A dark golden color with a white head. An intense dry pine aroma and finishes with a touch of Belgian sweet candy aromas. Rough, dry, bitter and intensely hopped on the palate. What’s not to like.

I’m starting early on IPA day!! Strong skunky, cat urine (in a good way if that’s possible) hop aroma from a crystal clear light gold body with a white head. Candied fruit and light bubblegum flavors hit first followed by sweet vanilla and caramel. The alcohol announces itself clearly but not overwhelmingly as do the flavoring hops which cling to the tongue with a light earthy/mushroomy flavor that balances nicely with the malt sweetness. The yeast does stand out as Belgian-ish and adds another nice component to this. Finishes dry and sweet with residual wood and vanilla flavors. Excellent, interesting DIPA. Happy IPA Day everyone!! conway (2210) - - NOV 7, 2013
Bottle. Light copper with a quickly dissipating off white head. Aroma is grassy, floral, fruity and slight barnyard funk. Taste follows suit but focuses more on fruit. Very delicate palate with just enough sharp carbonation to balance the mouthfeel. Really well made. Tongan77 (115) - Ventura, California, USA - DEC 23, 2013
From bottle to glass. Aroma is of citrus and pine. Pours an amber with a light head. Taste is different than expected. Has a sweet yet charred flavor to it.

Light copper, orange hues. The aroma is floral, tangerine, and sweet. Wow, great sharp taste with some funk mixed in perfectly. Dank, resinous, sticky palate with medium carbonation. The mouthfeel is the standout characteristic. Great job Knee Deep!

Really nice Belgiany DIPA here from Knee Deep. Elements of the OG brew with a nice floral tropical hop note, hints of straw and grass, and a big sweet malt front. The Belgian yeast adds a lovely layer of complexity fruiting the beer our even further. Good stuff!
