On tap at Battleship. Pours a clear golden color with hardly any head. Aroma is of hops, slight aluminum, grain, bark, earthiness, and a little bit of alcohol. Flavor is basically the same. The hops do taste nice and fresh and this is nicely balanced, but still a little hot. Leaves a citrusy hop finish. Decent stuff right here. raphael (1295) - Portland, Oregon, USA - AUG 22, 2017
The aroma’s so assaultive the smoothness of fhe flavor is a surprise, a little bit of let-down still the flavor--a little thin on the palate--ramps up to a metallic bitter edge, with some alcohol and honey. clear yellow leaning toward amber. Aromas of leather, caramel and malt vinegar... MarcoDL (5418) - NETHERLANDS - JUL 26, 2017
Draft. Aroma of citrus, caramel, biscuity malt and peach. Flavor of sticky biscuity malt, bitter citrus, caramel, peach and herbal pine. Very nice. hayduke (5703) - Eureka, California, USA - MAY 3, 2017
Shared with Strykzone on Facebook Chat. Pours amber with a nice white head that produced good lacing. Nose is citrus and spice Medium body. Flavor is fruit, citrus, and spices. Finishes very earthy. Good beer. No make that great beer. Strykzone (7723) - Wood River, Illinois, USA - APR 12, 2017
Bomber from hayduke that we had together via facebook chat. Very hazy golden orange in color and it wears a one finger almost white head. Aroma is fruit, cat pee, earth, spice, and candy. First sip is complex hops that tend toward tropical fruit. It is earthy and herbal. It brings some nice tropical fruit with a little stone fruit. Malts are not really noticed but some cereal maybe. The Belgian thing is hardly noticed as well. This is a nice double IPA.

Bottle. Slightly cloudy golden yellow with foamy large off-white head, floral hops aroma, low carbonation, medium bitter taste with Belgian yeast flavor, somewhat thick body, long bitter finish. Interesting brew with mix of Belgian and DIPA characteristics. madmitch76 (25817) - , Essex, ENGLAND - JUL 24, 2016

Very hazy orange - gold beer, big fluffy cream colour head. Palate is airy, mildly dry and has good fine minerally carbonation. Light malts, modestly sweet. A light touch of bitterish savoury Belgian yeast. Smooth floralness and light mango. Fresh orange - tangerine with a nice pine and hop spice. Dry finish brings mild bitterness. Another super DIPA from Knee Deep.
Citrusy grapefruit hoppy aroma with pine, yeast spiciness
Pours a clear golden color with lasting white creamy head.
Resinous bitter piney hops, yeasty spice.
Medium full body, medium co2, lingering bitterness.
It's ok. I prefer the original much better.
