Almost clear gold beer, good white head. Palate is light and mildly dry, good fine carbonation. Very light malts, medium sweet. Lively citra hops bringing orange, tangerine and pink grapefruit. Whispers of pine and spice. Light finish. Hugely drinkable IPA. The hops are tasty and the malt base light. Light and with a lovely balance.

Hazy golden to light amber color with generous compact head. The hop aroma is deep, penetrating; it brings citrus fruit, citrus peel, a bit of manure; excellent overall. Bone dry mouthfeel; the blond malt profile is quite nice, delicate, with a touch of cereals and toffee, leaving space for the hops, which are mostly resiny, piney, and a bit citrusy.

Amber color, hazy, with generous head. The aroma is hoppy, with citrusy hints, and some earthy character too. Smooth caramel and toffee flavor, with light biscuity touch; strong bitterness, the quality hops provide a very good citrusy and resiny character. Long final.
Fresh and excellent.

Clear golden orange with a mahoosive off white head.
Nose is caramel malt forward, hoppy tinges, grass, orange pith, light grapefruit.
Taste follows along the same lines, all about the malt, the citra hops and citrus fruits just don’t shine through.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, some hop bitterness in a sweetish close.
Nah - this is a letdown, give Kernel a call and they’ll tell you how to showcase a hop/hops, to sweet and caramac.
On tap at Apex, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma and flavour brings out notes of citrus, biscuity malt, and floral notes. Really well-balanced, dry and flavourful. Excellent. Oakes (19013) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - OCT 17, 2014
Amber, hazy. Strong citra nose is unfortunately quite chewy, either from crystal malt or age (it’s a few months old) or possibly both. Taste is similar, with moderate bitterness and some toastiness, but really lacking in brightness. jtclockwork (17410) - , New Jersey, USA - SEP 9, 2012
Bottle. Pours clear gold with white head. Nose/taste of citrus, resin, dried grains, tropical fruits and pine. Finishes very dry resin/pine. Medium body. Crisp. Clean. FatPhil (17160) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - FEB 10, 2014
660ml bottle - gift from N&A - thanks!
Massively sticky caramelly aroma. Pure sugary syrup. Plenty of fruit too, but the sugar’s the most prominant feature. Mid orange, huge persistent foamy head. Sweet caramelly body, simple fruity hops too - fleshy fruits. Gentle zesty bitterness. Had this a hundred times, snore - a brew devoid of details and smothered in sugar. Later there’s some marmitey yeastiness both in the aroma and taste.
